What to Expect

Community Driven

We are not a tour operator. Our trips are not-for-profit and by and for you the community! We run the event collectively and as peers meaning all attendees can contribute to make this trip happen.

Ski and Snowboarding

Get access to a 4-day lift pass for the entire Monte Rosa ski area, including over 180kms of slopes. There is a huge range of routes for beginners to experienced ski and snowboarders. You can also pay for lessons during the trip from qualified experts.

Social Activities

Our trips centre joy and community, so there will be lots of social activities during the trip including icebreakers, games night, and communal meals.

Accommodation

Self-catering apartments, some with balconies & mountain views, in a laid-back hotel with a free ski shuttle.

Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Italy!
Shortly after arriving at the airport you will be picked up by the transfer and driven to your accommodation, close to the ski lifts.
You will have chance to settle in and rest, ready for your adventurous week ahead.

Day 2-5

On your first ski/snowboarding day you will head to the kit hire shop to pick up your kit and lift pass.
Once you're all kitted up, you are free to explore the spectacular mountains of the Monterosa Ski Area.
There are optional ski and snowboarding lessons at an additional cost for those interested.
At the end of the day you will have the option to ski/snowboard back to your accommodation (depending on conditions) or alternatively you can take the ski bus back down.
Each evening we will be curating exciting activities including ice breakers, games, and dinners.
At the end of your final day of ski/snowboarding you will need to head back to the shop to hand back your rental kit.

Day 6

On the final day of your trip, after check out, you will be transferred back to the airport.

To help with finding a good flight price for everyone, we have made a group booking to secure seats on the same flight departing from and returning to London Heathrow Airport. These cost £180 per person, including 23kg of luggage.

Important: We can only guarantee you a flight if you book and pay a £20 deposit by 12pm, 10th October 2023. Details for paying this deposit are in the Google form (step 2 of the booking process). After this date you will need to arrange your own flight to and from Milan Malpensa Airport.

The remaining flight balance will be due 10 weeks before departure.

We make no profit from flights, we are simply paying for tickets on your behalf. As such, you must ensure that you have insurance that covers your flights and travel.

Bursary Ticket Information

We have 2 Bursary ticket spaces for those who wish to attend but experience financial barriers in paying the full cost. We will confirm the cost of the bursary ticket and how to apply after we have released our standard tickets.

Develop your ski or snowboarding skills with 1-hour private lessons led by qualified instructors.

Ski/Snowboard
Courses

Join an exciting ski or snowboarding course, to develop your skills across the week. The course is 2 hours per day and led by a qualified instructor.

Class sizes are between 6-8 people.

Hut Meal with a ride on the Snowcat

Join us for group dinner where we will be hopping aboard the snowcat for an exhilarating journey to the hut, where we'll indulge in a carefully crafted meal while surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains. It's an unforgettable adventure for your taste buds and your senses!

Standard Tickets

Step-by-step how to book

There are a few steps you need to take to secure your ticket. All steps need to be completed to receive your final confirmation.

Step 1

Use 'Ticket' link below to order a ticket. You will only be allowed to purchase one ticket at a time. If tickets sell out, you can order a 'waiting list' ticket.

Step 2

Once you have made your order, you will need to complete the Google Form within the confirmation email. We have separated the long Google Form from the initial ticket order as we don't want to put those who write, read, or process information slower at a further disadvantage during the initial check out process.

Step 3

Once you have completed the Google Form, please follow the details to pay for the trip. You pay for the trip via World Adventure Group and and Gressoney Adventures. You send your money for flights to Wanderers of Colour.

Payment information - For Trip
When paying you have the option to pay upfront or in instalments. There's 2 ways to pay in instalments; you can choose either a deposit and final payment 45 days before the trip or a monthly breakdown of the total cost.

Payment information - For Flights

We require a £20 deposit for flights to be paid by 12pm 10th October, and the rest the be paid 10 weeks before the trip.

Refund Policy

If you can no longer attend

Once you pay you will only be eligible for a refund if we find someone to replace you.
Please refer to the World Adventure Group and and Gressoney Adventures booking page for the full refund and cancellation policy.

If we have to cancel the trip

In the event that the trip gets cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control we will follow the terms and conditions set by World Adventure Group and and Gressoney Adventures.

Your flights and transportation however, are not covered and you will need to communicate with your insurance provider. You are responsible for arranging your own travel insurance; please ensure you do this as soon as possible.
